Donn Schucker's H2 750 Triple Tracker Special
Bring back any memories?
In 1974 & 1975 several 750 Kawasakis raced the AMA national dirt track series
with little success against the Harleys, partially due to excessive horsepower
for the tires that were available at the time. They were similar in
power-weight to the famous TZ750-powered Yamaha that Kenny Roberts stunned the
world with by winning the Indy mile, leading to the ban of multi-cylinder
motorcycles in dirt track racing. Those who had the huevos to ride the Kawasaki
triples included Scott Brelsford and Gary Nixon.
